Happy Wednesday Fairy Sleepers! This week’s story is a Welsh Fairy Tale, called The Lady of the Lake By William Elliot Griffis from 1921. I grew up in New Hope, PA where Washington crossed the Delaware River. I was surrounded by my family history mirroring the author, the intro, and the author’s family as well as growing up Welsh and Irish I thought I would try something a bit different.
Maybe not the most uplifting story but I like to search for stories you have never heard before and I hope it makes you very Fairy Sleepy.
Keep an ear out for next week’s story where we travel back to Asgard for Asgard Stories, by Mary H. Foster and Mabel H. Cummings. Vikings, Thor, and Loki! Looking forward to next week! Until next time, goodnight!
